Structural As-Built and Retrofitting
Analysis, evaluation and certification of existing structures required to comply with the latest building code. Exploration of existing structural members are done via non-destructive testing (PROCEQ Ferro scanner, PROCEQ Schmidt Rebound Hammer) and structural rectification and retrofitting can be done via carbon fiber wrap, carbon plate, concrete and steel jacketing. Formation of cracks are rectified via high pressure injection.

CALID Specialty Contractors Inc. is the specialty construction arm of VBo Architects and Engineers, a complete architecture and engineering design firm that will cater to all architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design requirements. Engr. Junim I. Bocalid
President
Junim earned his degree in Civil Engineering in The University of the Philippines Los Baños– College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology. Right after graduation, he then took and passed the PRC Board Examination for Civil Engineering.
His solid experience in the field of structural engineering in established design firms in the Philippines like TCGI Engineers Inc., and Sy^2 + Associates Inc. has equipped him with the skills to tackle projects of all sizes, shapes and forms and kept him up-to-date with the latest structural analytical approaches.
His passion and work ethics has earned him repeat clients and recommendations, thus encouraging him to continually perform on the highest standards and maintaining his competence and integrity through self enhancement. He is currently taking his Master Degree in Tall Building Design at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
Ar. Mary Neil Velasco Bocalid
Chief Finance Executive
Mary, a Cum Laude graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman - College of Architecture, is the Founder and Managing Partner of the firm. She is both a licensed Architect and Master Plumber. Having gained her experience in the acclaimed Leandro V. Locsin + Partners for almost 5 years, she has gained significant experience by handling high- profile projects and by working with great architects, designers and consultants. She was involved in some of LVLP’s significant resort projects like Asya Premier Suite Boracay and Pangulasian Island Resort – El Nido. She was mentored under Ar. Edgardo Ledesma, Managing Partner of LVLP.
Her keen eye for aesthetics, design and planning earned her recommendations not only from past clients but from her colleagues as well.
Some of her notable resort projects under her office are Coast Boracay – currently No. 1 in Tripadvisor, Casa Kalaw, Apulit Island, Miniloc Island Resort and Pangulasian Island Renovation by El Nido Resorts (Ayala Management) and Samal Discovery Shores.
She also worked with some of the top Hotel Consultants in our country namely Raintree Hotel Management and Discovery Shores.
